Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Location: West Africa Employment Type: Full-time
About Us: Under the umbrella of Ashkenazi Group, our sister concern operates various mining operations across Africa, mainly in West Africa, committed to sustainable exploration, innovation, and ethical operations.
Key Responsibilities • Plan and oversee mine operations and site construction (roads, workshops, offices, tailings, power systems). • Supervise plant installation and commissioning in coordination with engineers and contractors. • Lead multi-discipline site teams and enforce strict safety and environmental compliance. • Develop and track site budgets, schedules, and progress reports. • Coordinate with head office, contractors, and local authorities. • Ensure all works meet quality, productivity, and regulatory standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
• B.Eng. in Mining, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering. • 5+ years in mining and construction project management, including mine development or plant construction. • Strong knowledge of project management, cost control, contractor management, and scheduling tools. • Experience in Africa or developing regions preferred.
Skills & Traits Decisive leadership, multitasking, organizational strength, safety focus, and the ability to deliver results under demanding site conditions.
