Design and oversee the management and execution of mining operations.

• Conduct studies to develop mining and excavation methods.
• Conduct technical analyses to obtain information on soil nature and other information and write reports.
• Conduct preliminary studies on the ore and mineral deposits in order to propose the most appropriate method for digging galleries and tunnels.
• To determine safe and efficient digging methods.
• Determine the appropriate blasting methods for mining, construction or demolition and provide advice on these methods.
• Plan and select mining machinery in collaboration with other mining engineering specialists.
• Prepare cost estimates for operations and projects, as well as execution schedules and reports.
• Implementing and coordinating minimum security programs.
• To ensure quality production in a continuous manner over time.
• Analyze the discrepancies between actual results and forecasts, determine the clauses and propose solutions.
• If necessary, make any corrections to the production process.
• To ensure liaison and the flow of information between the company and external administrative bodies.
• Having the necessary information to maintain working relationships with the client, the project manager, external organizations and the various trades within the company.
• To stay informed about new technologies and techniques specific to one's activity.
• Ensure the visibility of its stakeholders (transparency).
• Communicating relevant information to the right people at the right time.

• Manage all information and communication with the environment.

• Addressing non-conformities, proposing solutions and giving orders for the execution of excavation work.
• Speak with members of the engineering team and conduct research to determine the requirements for carrying out the work.
• Conduct feasibility studies, economic analyses and other studies.

• Utilize high-performing organizations and new technologies and techniques on the construction site.
• To guarantee the technical quality and profitability of the work carried out according to the specifications.
