Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Join Capgemini s Global Insights & Data business line a recognized leader in data, platforms, and analytics across diverse sectors such as financial services, consumer products, manufacturing, and life sciences. We deliver end-to-end data integration, advanced AI engineering, and sector-specific analytics solutions. As a Mobile/Tablet Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications for iOS and/or Android devices, contributing to innovative solutions that drive business transformation.
Mobile & Tablet App Development
- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and/or Android platforms.
- Build responsive user interfaces optimized for a range of devices, including tablets.
- Implement reusable components and scalable architectures.
- Integrate REST APIs, SDKs, and third-party libraries to connect with backend systems.
Quality, Testing & Performance
- Conduct unit, integration, and UI testing to ensure application stability and reliability.
- Optimize performance, memory usage, and responsiveness across devices.
- Identify and resolve bugs, crashes, and UI inconsistencies.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to deliver pixel-perfect interfaces.
- Collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams to meet project timelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimations, and sprint planning.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay current with the latest mobile technologies, frameworks, and OS guidelines.
- Recommend improvements in product design, user experience, and development processes.
- Apply best practices in security, accessibility, and mobile standards.
Technical Skills
- Experience with native mobile development:
- Android: Java/Kotlin, Android Studio
- iOS: Swift/Objective-C, Xcode
OR experience with cross-platform frameworks:
- Flutter, React Native, Xamarin, Ionic
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations
- Familiarity with mobile architectures (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture)
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
- Understanding of offline storage, caching, and synchronization
Professional Experience
- Experienced in mobile or tablet app development
- Experience publishing apps to Google Play Store or Apple App Store (preferred)
- Experience working in Agile development environments
