Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execute mold changes with precision, ensuring proper alignment and secure connections to minimize downtime and prevent defects.
- Conduct thorough mold inspections and preventative maintenance, identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact production.
- Optimize molding parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) to achieve consistent part quality and efficiency, reducing waste.
- Troubleshoot molding machine malfunctions and part defects, employing analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates with vocational training in plastics technology.
- Possesses at least 2 years of hands-on experience in plastic injection molding, demonstrating practical knowledge.
- Familiarity with various molding machines (Arburg, Engel, etc.) and mold types, showcasing versatility.
- Demonstrates proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, ensuring accurate mold setup and operation.
