Overview

Performance Energy is supporting offshore drilling operations across the Middle East and is seeking experienced MPD Wellsite Supervisors to support ongoing Managed Pressure Drilling campaigns. This position is suited to highly experienced supervisors capable of leading offshore MPD operations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, well control, and operational performance.

Role Purpose

The MPD Wellsite Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing offshore MPD activities, ensuring safe execution of drilling programmes, maintaining well control standards, and acting as the operational focal point between offshore teams and client representatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise offshore MPD operations in accordance with approved procedures
• Lead wellsite execution and operational decision-making
• Monitor pressure management systems and drilling performance
• Ensure compliance with HSE and well control standards
• Coordinate activities between drilling and MPD personnel
• Provide technical guidance during drilling operations
• Maintain accurate reporting and operational documentation

Essential Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience as an MPD Wellsite Supervisor
• Strong offshore MPD operational background
• Proven well control and pressure management experience
• Experience leading offshore drilling operations
• Ability to operate effectively in safety-critical environments

Preferred / Advantageous Background

• Previous experience with major service companies
• Experience on complex offshore drilling campaigns
• Strong client-facing communication skills
• Experience working in challenging offshore environments

Certifications (Mandatory)

• IWCF Level 4 or equivalent Supervisor-level Well Control certification
• Valid offshore survival certification
• Valid offshore medical
• All offshore certifications current and in date
