Gems International School - Soma Bay is urgently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher for immediate hire. Join our dedicated team to inspire and educate our students through the joys of music education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging music lessons tailored to students of various ages and skill levels.
  • Teach music theory, composition, and performance techniques across a range of instruments and vocal practices.
  • Organize and direct student performances, enabling them to showcase their musical talents and gain confidence.
  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their continuous growth in music.
  • Collaborate with other faculty to integrate music education into overall curriculum and school events.
  • Create a welcoming and stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and collaboration.
  • Stay updated on best practices in music education and implement innovative teaching strategies.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field.

  • Valid teaching certification and prior experience in a music teaching role are favorable.
  • Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and vocal techniques.
  • Strong understanding of music theory and ability to teach effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a knack for engaging students of all backgrounds.
