Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections using various methods like ultrasonic, radiography, and magnetic particle testing to identify defects in materials and components.
  • Interpret inspection results, evaluate findings against acceptance criteria, and generate detailed reports documenting the inspection process and results, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy, and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain inspection reliability.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures while performing NDT inspections, including radiation safety practices, to ensure a safe working environment and prevent accidents.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates with an Associate's degree in a technical field.
  • Holds relevant NDT certifications, such as ASNT Level II or III in multiple methods (UT, RT, MT, PT), demonstrating a strong foundation in NDT principles.
  • Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in NDT, showcasing practical application and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrates experience in the aerospace, oil & gas, or manufacturing industries, indicating familiarity with specific industry standards and practices.
