Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Design and implement cloud networking architectures including VPCs, subnets, route tables, and security groups across AWS and Azure

  • Manage hybrid cloud connectivity using VPN tunnels, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, and SD-WAN solutions
  • Configure and maintain load balancers, CDN configurations, DNS architectures, and DDoS protection systems
  • Implement network security controls including microsegmentation, WAF policies, and network access control lists
  • Monitor network performance using flow logs, packet analysis, and network observability tools to ensure SLA compliance
  • Develop network automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code for consistent network provisioning and changes

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of network engineering experience spanning both traditional and cloud networking
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, and VLAN concepts with cloud networking equivalents
  • Experience with AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, CloudFront) or Azure networking (VNet, Front Door, Traffic Manager)
  • Proficiency with network security appliances and cloud-native security services (WAF, DDoS protection, firewall)
  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions and hybrid cloud connectivity architectures
  • Network automation skills using Python, Ansible, or Terraform for infrastructure provisioning

Nice to Have

  • CCNP, AWS Advanced Networking, or equivalent network certification
  • Experience with eBPF-based networking and observability tools
  • Knowledge of 5G and edge networking architectures
