Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced L3 support across complex network infrastructures, leading the resolution of network-related incidents, and ensuring optimal network performance and security. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing advanced L3 support for the enterprise and data center network.
  • Leading the resolution of network-related incidents and troubleshooting complex network issues.
  • Monitoring network performance and ensuring optimal network security.
  • Implementing and managing network security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure aligns with business requirements.
  • Participating in network design and implementation projects.
  • Documenting network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Staying current with network technologies and industry best practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

This on-site, contract role for a Network Engineer L3 in the United Arab Emirates offers an opportunity to take technical ownership of a business-critical enterprise and data center network environment, ideally within banking, financial services, or other large-scale enterprises. The position is suited to a seasoned professional with around 12 years of overall experience and at least 7 years of deep, hands-on network engineering expertise, backed by a bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
