We are looking for a Network Specialist who is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting an organization's computer networks to ensure smooth and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Design & Deployment

o Design LAN, WAN, and VPN networks.

o Implement and configure routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.

2. Network Maintenance & Support

o Monitor network performance and uptime.

o Troubleshoot network issues (e.g., outages, slowness).

o Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades.

3. Security & Compliance

o Configure firewalls and security protocols.

o Monitor for security breaches and apply patches.

o Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

4. Documentation & Reporting

o Maintain accurate network documentation (IP schemes, diagrams).

o Create reports on network health, incidents, and changes.

5. Collaboration & Training

o Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and service providers.

o Support user issues related to connectivity.

o Provide training or guidance on networking best practices.

6. Backup & Recovery

o Support network-related aspects of disaster recovery planning.

o Ensure redundancy and failover mechanisms are in place.

The qualification:

- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.

The skills:

- Analytical Thinking & Problem-Solving Quickly diagnose and fix complex network issues

- Attention to Detail Accurate configuration to avoid critical errors

- Communication Skills Clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users or stakeholders

- Collaboration & Teamwork Work with IT teams, vendors, and service providers

- Documentation Skills Keep diagrams, change logs, and IP addressing schemes clear and up to date

- Time Management Prioritize tasks effectively, especially during incidents

- Adaptability Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Certifications:

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

- CompTIA Network+
