Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert overnight care for young children, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the night.
  • Calm and soothe children, using effective techniques to settle them back to sleep and minimize night-time disruptions.
  • Monitor their health and development, observing for any signs of illness or distress and reporting to parents.
  • Follow the parents' specific routines and preferences, providing continuity of care and a consistent sleep schedule.
  • Implement safe sleep practices and adhere to all relevant safety guidelines to protect the child.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in early childhood education or a related field is preferred.
  • Have experience working within a private household or childcare setting.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Show a strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Be physically fit, capable of lifting and carrying infants, and able to remain alert and attentive throughout the night.
