Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare daily management reports;
- Perform the process of updating the reception system in accordance with established guidelines;
- Perform system backups if necessary;
- Maintain and verify the summary of the hotel's daily transactions and ensure that the hotel's computer systems are ready for the next day;
- Updating, verifying and correcting all regulations and postponements of the Receipt;
- Verify that all the departments have accounted for all their revenues;
- Reconcile, for each point of sale, the data from the restaurant point of sale system and the data from the PMS (Property Management System); Save and adjust scripts.
- To bring together all sources of miscellaneous revenue and the PMS system;
- Ensure the check-in and check-out of the establishment's customers;
- Ensure a control and correction role for all anomalies related to the operation of the Front Office during your shift;
- Previous experience of a position as a receptionist or night listener;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and other relevant applications;
- A university degree in a related discipline is an asset;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Excellent inter personal and problem-solving skills;
- Particularly responsible and reliable;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Ability to focus attention on the needs of customers, remaining calm and courteous at all times;
- Previous experience as a receptionist or accountant.
