NOC Engineer VaporVM

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor
  network, server, and application alerts using monitoring tools.
• Work
  on tools such as ManageEngine (OpManager), Pingdom, and other NOC
  monitoring tools.
• Identi
• fy,
  acknowledge, and perform initial troubleshooting of alerts/incidents.
• Log
  and manage incidents in ManageEngine ServiceDesk or ticketing tool.
• Ensure
  all tickets are updated with proper details and within SLA timelines.
• Escalate
  unresolved issues to L2/L3 teams as per escalation matrix.
• Perform
  basic troubleshooting (connectivity checks, service restarts, etc.) as per
  SOP.
• Communicate
  with internal teams and stakeholders regarding incidents and updates.
• Maintain
  proper documentation, logs, and follow standard operating procedures
  (SOPs).
• Prepare
  daily/weekly reports for incidents and monitoring status.
• Perform
  routine system and service health checks.
• Provide
  proper shift handover with clear updates on pending issues.
• Work
  in rotational shifts to support a 24 7 environment, including night shifts
  and weekends.

Required Skills:

• Basic
  knowledge of networking (IP, DNS, connectivity).
• Familiarity
  with monitoring tools like ManageEngine OpManager, Pingdom.
• Experience
  with ticketing tools like ManageEngine ServiceDesk.
• Basic
  troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good
  communication and coordination skills.
• Understanding
  of SLA and incident management process.
