Your day-to-day tasks will include developing, testing, and modifying Odoo applications and modules, and developing the user interface and functionality of the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. • Development model: 80% open-source and 20% enterprise code
• Frameworks: ORM, JavaScript framework (OWL), Templating Engine (QWeb), Spreadsheets, etc., all Odoo-made.

Job Description:

• Implement, customize, and develop Odoo modules to align with business requirements.
• Design and manipulate web content dynamically.
• Design, implement, and modify the custom modules and models within existing modules as needed.
• Monitoring database and handling expectations.
• Develop, test, and maintain Odoo modules.
• Developing both web layout and printout reports in various styles based on user requirements.
• Collaborate with the team to integrate Odoo with other web applications.
• Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to best practices.
• Adding new modules or extending functionalities in installed modules when required.
• Utilize version control tools like GitHub to manage project versions effectively.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years of experience in Odoo development in a team environment.
• Proficiency in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of applications in Odoo.
• Proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL, and experience with Linux and XML technologies.
• Experience with JavaScript, Query, CSS, and HTML.
• Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with object-relational mapping.
• Strong knowledge of working with Odoo functional modules including accounting, website, CRM, inventory, POS, purchase, sales, and project management.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Working experience with GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, or other related tools.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in developing both web layout and paper layout reports in various styles based on user requirements.
