Roles & Responsibilities

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Multi-Company ERP Design & Management (Critical)

• Design and implement multi-company architecture in Odoo.

• Configure:

  • Intercompany transactions (sales, purchases, transfers)

  • Shared vs separate warehouses

  • Multi-company chart of accounts

  • Consolidated and individual financial reporting

• Ensure:

  • Proper data segregation and access control

  • Smooth intercompany workflows without duplication

• Handle cross-company inventory and procurement flows.2. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Work closely with the IT department for system setup and integrations.

  • Coordinate with heads of multiple entities/departments to:

    • Align requirements across companies

    • Ensure uniform processes where required

    • Deliver tasks within timelines

  • Act as a central point of contact for ERP across all companies.

  3. Business Understanding & Process Alignment

  • Understand group-level and entity-level business needs.

  • Map workflows across:

    • Manufacturing

    • Supply chain

    • Finance

  • Standardize processes while allowing flexibility per company.

  4. Implementation & Configuration

  • Implement Odoo modules across companies:

    • Manufacturing (MRP)

    • Inventory & Warehouse

    • Sales & Procurement

    • Accounting

  • Configure:

    • Multi-warehouse setups

    • BOMs and production workflows

    • Product traceability across entities

  5. Customization & Development

  • Develop custom features for:

    • Intercompany transactions automation

    • Consolidated reporting

  • Use Python, PostgreSQL, XML/QWeb for development.

  6. Data Migration (Multi-Entity)

  • Migrate and structure data separately for each company:

    • Customers, vendors, products

    • Financials and opening balances

  • Ensure accurate consolidation and reconciliation across entities.

  7. UAT (Across Companies)

  • Conduct UAT for each company and cross-company workflows:

    • Intercompany sales/purchase cycles

    • Inventory transfers

    • Financial consolidation

  • Ensure all entities sign off before go-live.

  8. Training & User Enablement

  • Train teams across different companies/entities.

  • Ensure users understand:

    • Their company-specific workflows

    • Intercompany processes

  • Provide SOPs and manuals.

  9. Go-Live Execution

  • Plan phased or full go-live across companies.

  • Ensure:

    • Data readiness per entity

    • Smooth transition with minimal disruption

  10. Post Go-Live Support

  • Provide support across all entities.

  • Monitor:

    • Intercompany issues

    • Data inconsistencies

  • Continuously improve system efficiency.

  11. Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT across multiple entities.

  • Generate:

    • Entity-level reports

    • Consolidated group reports
