Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily workshop operations and ensure all production activities comply with applicable standards, codes, and client specifications.
  • Develop, review, and qualify machine shop products, including machining procedures and manufacturing plans.
  • Conduct in-process inspections and maintain accurate machining documentation, records, and operational logs.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, safety, and delivery requirements.
  • Provide technical support to workshop teams, resolve production issues, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with engineering and quality teams to optimize processes and improve product reliability.
  • Review project requirements, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure proper execution.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to workflow enhancement and equipment performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.

From 1 to 3 years of experience in the same field .

Strong knowledge of global quality and industry standards including:

  • ISO, ISO 9001, API Q1, API 6A, API 16A, API 5CT, API 7-1.
  • Experience with machining and welding processes; hands-on familiarity with WPS, PQR, and WPQ is a strong advantage.
  • Good understanding of workshop practices, manufacturing technologies, and production workflows.
  • Experience in the oil & gas industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to lead teams, supervise workshop activities, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborate
