Roles & Responsibilities
Fluent Arabic speaking and writing is required.Provide support to MERN Network by effectively handling the relationship with government officials invovled in the trucking movements, perform daily tasks, dealing with exceptions, on-road trucking issues & compliance reporting.Provides technical advice & practical support to internal & external customers on service & related systems issues."Please note that the Job will close at 12am on Posting Close date, so please submit your application prior to the Close Date"Grade - 5Fluent Arabic speaking and writing is required.Provide support to MERN Network by effectively handling the relationship with government officials invovled in the trucking movements, perform daily tasks, dealing with exceptions, on-road trucking issues & compliance reporting.Provides technical advice & practical support to internal & external customers on service & related systems issues.Job Function Build the relationship with government officials to address MERN Network requirements Closely monitor truck at borders Clearance paperwork and requirements from customers Coordinate with Clearance Brokers at borders to expedite trucks movements Communicate with trucks drivers and log updates Transit Times reporting and analysis Optimize clearance transit times at borders through analysis Management escalation Produce reports to Management/Snr. ManagementPerforms general administrative and support duties as required.Experience & Skills Required Excellent Arabic writing and speaking Excellent networking skills Good analytical skills Good problem solving skills with experience of developing & implementing solutions to operational issuesResponsible for the completion of defined processes and procedures to deadline, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant internal and external standards. Identifies anomalies as they arise and uses judgement based on rules and procedures to resolve.
