Primary Purpose of the Job

The incumbent under Shift Supervisor works in accordance with the Refinery and Chemical Plant unit Operating procedures and daily work Instructions/guidelines. In the event of process upset and emergency refers the problem to Shift Supervisor to keep the unit safe and minimize production loss.

Required Experience and Skills

3 Years technical training - HNC Level or equivalent.

8 Years of operations experience in multiple units of Refinery / Chemical Plant.

Good oral and reading knowledge of English.

Solid knowledge of DCS / Panel Operations.

Team Leadership/Surveillance / vigilance skills and control.

Good knowledge of Operational Procedures.

High level of alertness, anticipation and analysis skills are required.

Training on Firefighting/First Aid/BA/H2S.

Educational Qualifications

Higher Secondary Certificate or Equivalent and HNC.
