Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and rollout of Oracle Fusion Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) tailored to real estate operations, including project accounting, revenue recognition, and cost management.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map real estate-specific processes like land acquisition costing, joint venture accounting, compliance, and taxes handling into Oracle Fusion.

  • Conduct system testing, user training, and go-live support for finance teams, ensuring seamless integration with ERP systems and minimal business disruption.

  • Analyze financial data for real estate projects, prepare MIS reports, budgets, and forecasts using Oracle tools, and support audits with accurate trail documentation.

  • Optimize financial processes for efficiency, troubleshoot issues post-implementation, and recommend upgrades or customizations to align with evolving real estate regulations.

  • Ensure compliance and statutory requirements while driving automation in areas like lease accounting and inventory valuation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5+ years of post-qualification experience, including 3+ years in Oracle Fusion Financials implementation.

  • Proven track record in real estate domain, with hands-on experience in project-based accounting, revenue deferral, and multi-entity consolidations.

  • Expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (certification preferred), including functional setup, integrations (e.g., with Oracle PPM or third-party tools), and BI reporting.

  • Strong knowledge of real estate finance nuances: RERA, IGST on under-construction properties, joint developments, and escrow management.

  • Excellent analytical skills, proficiency in MS Excel/Advanced Analytics, and experience with tools like Power BI or Oracle Analytics Cloud.

  • Outstanding communication skills to liaise with stakeholders, vendors, and auditors; ability to mentor junior staff.
