Our Curriculum
DBSJP follows the National Curriculum for England, from EYFS through to GCSE, BTEC and A Level examination courses. The curriculum is significantly enhanced by the local context and culture. The opportunities that students enjoy outside the classroom are just as important as the main curriculum and we offer an extensive, competitive and varied extra-curricular activities programme.

Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- A high-quality degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with primary teaching experience.
- Proven track record of outstanding teaching across Key Stages 1 and 2, delivering a rich, engaging, and inclusive curriculum.
- Passionate about nurturing young learners, fostering curiosity, creativity, independence, and a love of learning.
- High expectations that motivate, challenge, and support students to achieve their full academic, social, and personal potential.
- Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating initiatives that positively impact student engagement and achievement.
- A confident, reflective practitioner who collaborates effectively within a year group or phase team.
- Committed to the wellbeing and holistic development of every child, creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment.
- Willingness to contribute to broader school life, including extracurricular activities and whole-school initiatives.
- Drive to continually develop professionally through bespoke, high-quality CPD programmes.
