Roles & Responsibilities


About the Role:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new target HORECA partners through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, social media, on-ground visits and more.
  • Sales Process Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process including prospecting, qualifying leads, conducting product demonstrations and presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Follow-Up and Organization: Maintain a disciplined approach to follow-up activities to ensure timely responses to inquiries, proposals, and client communications.
  • Progress Reporting: Regularly update the sales management team on progress against targets, key metrics, and potential opportunities or challenges. Provide insightful analysis and recommendations based on sales performance data.
  • Pitching and Commercial Acumen: Develop and deliver compelling sales pitches that highlight the value proposition of our services. Demonstrate commercial awareness by understanding industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings.
  • Brand Representation: Serve as a brand ambassador by representing Careem professionally at all times. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term partnerships and referrals.

Desired Candidate Profile

What we re looking for:

  • 1-2 years of commercial experience, preferably in sales
  • F&B/food tech experience is a plus
  • Competent sales professional both in person as well as over the phone
  • Well spoken and able to communicate clearly and effectively via writing
  • Must be English and Arabic speaking
  • Proficient in using Google and Microsoft suite (presentations, spreadsheets, email, etc.)
  • Proven sales track record preferably with prior FoodTech/F&B experience
  • Go-getter attitude who won t shy away from the challenges of scaling new markets
  • Should take full ownership of closing the sales cycle with extra focus on nurturing and building relationships with partners
  • Extra points for someone with a strong work ethic, discipline and who can dabble with Google Sheets and Slides.
