Key Responsibilities

* Prepare, bake, and decorate a wide variety of desserts and pastry items following established recipes and presentation standards.
* Maintain mise en place and ensure consistency in quality, taste, and visual appeal of all pastry products.
* Assist in menu creation and contribute innovative ideas for new desserts and seasonal offerings.
* Supervise and train junior pastry staff, ensuring adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
* Monitor food stock levels, report shortages, and support inventory and ordering processes.
* Uphold HACCP and resort sanitation procedures, ensuring the pastry kitchen meets audit requirements.
* Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure timely and accurate pastry production for outlets, banquets, and special events.

Ideal Profile

* Diploma or certification in Pastry Arts or Culinary Management preferred.
* Chef de Partie, Pastry: 3 5 years of experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
* Commis 1/2/3, Pastry: 1 3 years of pastry or bakery experience, preferably in a high-end hospitality setting.
* Strong technical skills in pastry production, chocolate work, and decorative presentation.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with a passion for innovation and excellence.
* Knowledge of international pastry trends and modern plating techniques.
* Flexible, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
