Roles & Responsibilities



Position Purpose
The Patient Care Coordinator will assist the Patient Care Leader in managing drug access program(s) in the region. The jobholder is required to help represent Axios in daily meetings with patients, doctors and carry out administrative duties which will be both field and office based. The ultimate purpose of this role is to expand access strategies among the globe to maximize patient medical benefits.


Duties and Responsibilities
Effectively assist the line manager and assigned program team in managing a (s) by liaising with all associated stakeholders.
Ensure that eligible patients are enrolled in the program(s) in a timely manner and in accordance with the project workflow and timelines.
Responsible for educating and coordinating with patients within the scope of their assigned program to ensure a smooth enrolment process in accordance with the program's agreed procedures.
Ensure patient files are complete, accurate, and prepared for timely submission in alignment with project processes, workflows, and timelines, as requested.
Accompany team members in conducting visits to doctors, Pharmacies, or patient support sites to assist with program implementation.
Ensure that current patients receive their medications quickly and efficiently.
Prepare and maintain regular program reports on program activities, including patient numbers, support services, and quality assurance metrics. This will involve tracking patient progress through the program in collaboration with the team.
Maintain and update electronic program files, including patient and quality assurance data.
Attending and completing Product Training, Pharmacovigilance training or any other required training provided by the Client with a clear understanding of how to collect and report safety data.
Reporting any adverse events/product complaints as per the client s requirements and/or Axios SOPPs.
Conduct administrative tasks related to full program operations or any general administrative duties for the office.
Conduct all program activities through exclusive use of Axios Patient Management System (PMS).
Ensure strong understanding and implementation of international standards and applicable polices related to Axios' offering and services.
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and Axios code of conduct and Axios SOPPs.
Ensure to empower the awareness related to escalation for deviation and non-compliance.
Support and monitor the governance for all Axios operations.

Additional duties as required.


Relationships
Work closely with the Line Manager and the assigned program team in the region
Work with the related divisions of Axios
Maintain ongoing and frequent communication with Axios staff, including Axios global staff

Educational Background and Experience
A Degree or Diploma in Social Work or Public Health is ideal
0-1 year of working experience in a healthcare or scientific field or NGO is ideal
Experience in data monitoring and management is an advantage
Experience coordinating and handling logistics/supply chain is an advantage
Experience in customer service management

Job Circumstances
The position is based in our Lebanon office, and it does entail frequent travel to Clients and partners, which may be outside your designated region

Flexibility in ability to travel as well as working hours is essential
