Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely and efficient payroll processing and provisioning of related employee services. Lead the payroll team and ensure they are fully trained and up to date with the latest legal requirements.
  • Employee Relations
  • Ensure new joiners are added to payroll systems in a timely manner
    Review and endorse all required payroll transactions and reconciliations in a timely manner
    Review all management incentive bonuses, salary deferrals, overtime hours, allowances and transport considerations before issuance of payroll slips
    Inform staff of their benefits eligibility and enroll them in the respective plans
    Assess and select insurance providers and secure coverage plans to meet employee needs
    Policy Development
    • Develop compensation and benefit schemes in coordination with Head of HR Services
    • Develop payroll processes and procedures and ensure these reflect business needs and best practices
    • Update the HR policy manual, and communicate any changes in policy documents to employees
    • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and guidelines in KSA
  • Organizational Development
  • Coordinate with audit teams when subjected to audits, both internal and external
  • Direct staff in benchmark salary surveys to ensure that compensation packages remain competitive within the industry
  • Develop key performance metrics to be used in annual reviews for payroll personnel Train payroll staff member
  • Supervise, mentor and coach payroll support team on day to day activities and payroll related tasks, prioritization and work planning
  • Upgrade payroll software to enhance efficiency
  • Assist the head of HR department in analysing the feedback from Employee Satisfaction Surveys and suggest action steps

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or related disciplines
  • Qualifications from either the Institute of Payroll and Pensions Management (PPM) or International Association of Book-keepers (IAB) Certificates will be a plus
  • 4+ years of Payroll / Accounting experience with 2 years of ADP experience.
