Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for a diverse employee base, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, minimizing errors and fostering trust.
  • Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and benefit deductions, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
  • Calculate and process wages, salaries, bonuses, and commissions, applying knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and company policies.
  • Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries, providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with employees.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of payroll processing experience, demonstrating hands-on experience and a strong understanding of payroll principles.

  • Experience with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday) is essential, showcasing proficiency in using payroll systems.

  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
