Roles & Responsibilities

Payroll Officer – Arabic Speaker is a must

Role Purpose

The purpose of the payroll officer is to manage the HRMS, employees’ data and mapping, process employee salaries and conduct employee separation as per the UAE Labor Law.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in HR, including 2 years in the UAE and 2 years in Payroll.

Education

Bachelor of science in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or Human Resources Management.

Responsibilities

Onboard new employees; collecting missing data and mapping them as per the approved structure in the company's HR system in English & Arabic using accuracy and attention to minute details.

Ensure each employee has a physical and e-file.

Work closely with employees to gain any vital payment information entailing any status changes, employee bank details, or to address any issues they have about their paychecks.

Prepare payroll variables and ensure all payroll supporting documents are in place.

Conduct payroll in the company HR system compliance with the labor law and company policies and timeline.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual payroll statements and ensure compliance with the company payroll policies.

Prepare various regular employee data reports and customized reports.

Reflect employees’ data changes on the day in the HR system for all increments and promotions.

Issue employment contracts whenever required.

Issue experience letters, salary certificates, embassy letters and any specific letters.

Draft all resignation and termination memos in English and Arabic for management approval.

Conduct exit interviews with resigned employees.

Ensure timely Employees’ Separations and clearance and process End of Service as per the UAE laws.

Ensure all separated employees visas and insurance cancellation are conducted and review the insurance credit note.

Scan, file and archive all leavers’ files as per the company process.

Maintain the confidentiality of the sensitive data as per the organization’s security and privacy protocols.

Conduct HR frequent self-audit to ensure compliance with company policies.

Assist the HR Director in preparing Payroll Budgets and Cost to Company Reports.

Prepare the health insurance, life insurance and workmen insurance data report for insurance companies.

Substantial working knowledge of industry software for payroll processing.

Advanced in Excell and payroll formulas.

Well versed with the UAE laws especially in End of Service.

Good knowledge of HR systems/Applications.
