Key Responsibilities:

Design & optimize well drilling, completion, and production strategies
Conduct reservoir simulations using industry software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel)
Analyze well logs, production data, and core samples for performance enhancement
Collaborate with geoscientists on field development plans
Ensure compliance with Qatar energy regulations & HSE standards
Prepare technical reports for stakeholders
Troubleshoot production challenges (water/gas breakthrough, sand control)

Must-Have Skills:

5+ years in upstream petroleum engineering (offshore/onshore)
Expertise in:

• Reservoir Engineering (MBAL, Prosper, Eclipse)
• Production Optimization (Nodal analysis, PLT interpretation)
• Drilling Engineering (WellPlan, Compass)
  Strong knowledge of Qatari oil/gas fields (preferred)
  Bachelor s in Petroleum/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
  PE/Chartered Engineer certification (advantageous)
