Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense prescription medications while adhering to all legal, regulatory, and safety standards.
  • Conduct thorough medication reviews and patient assessments to ensure safe and effective therapy.
  • Provide clear and compassionate counseling to patients regarding their medications and health conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient responses to drug therapy and make adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring medications are stocked and stored properly.
  • Participate in educational initiatives and workshops to enhance patient understanding of their medications.
  • Maintain all pharmacy records and documentation accurately.

Desired Candidate Profile

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.

  • Active pharmacist license in the state of operation.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and best practices in medication management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • A team player with a passion for patient care and health education.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development within the pharmaceutical field.
