Roles & Responsibilities
About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pharmacy Associate to manage pharmacy-related processes, ensure compliance with regulations, and support continuous improvement of pharmacy services. You will act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external providers, handling pre-approvals, audits, data analysis, and pharmacy network management.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Manage pharmacy empanelment and documentation
•
Process pre-approval requests and pharmacy invoices
•
Serve as primary contact for pharmacy-related inquiries
•
Stay updated on drug information and regulatory changes (MOPH/QNDC)
•
Conduct provider orientations and compliance visits
•
Monitor adherence to PBM rules and pharmacy regulations
•
Analyze data and prepare reports to support decision-making
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience:
•
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field
•
1–3 years of experience in community or clinical pharmacy
•
Experience in hospital or medical pharmacy is preferred
•
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
•
Knowledge of pharmacy operations, insurance procedures, and regulatory standards
