Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach structured lessons in physics, covering key areas such as electricity, magnetism, mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, and modern physics.
  • Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and relevant competitive tests.
  • Design comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate theory, real-life applications, and laboratory experiments.
  • Use simulations, interactive tools, and lab equipment to reinforce conceptual understanding.
  • Create and assess assignments, tests, and lab reports.

Student Engagement & Skill Development:

  • Foster scientific reasoning, inquiry, and critical thinking among students.
  • Guide learners in conducting practicals and analyzing experimental outcomes.
  • Offer remedial sessions and differentiated instruction to meet varied learning needs.

Classroom Management & Inclusivity:

  • Maintain a focused, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
  • Ensure that all laboratory safety protocols and school rules are followed.
  • Adapt instruction to cater to a diverse student population.

Parental Communication & Collaboration:

  • Communicate student progress and academic development with parents on a regular basis.
  • Actively participate in parent-teacher meetings, science fairs, and other STEM-related school events.

Professional Development & Compliance:

  • Stay current with CBSE curriculum updates, board exam formats, and KHDA policies.
  • Participate in professional development sessions and contribute to collaborative projects within the science faculty.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education:

  • B.Ed. is mandatory (applications without this qualification will not be considered).
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Physics, Education, or a related scientific discipline.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 3 years of experience teaching physics at the secondary level in a CBSE-affiliated school.

Visa Status:

  • Candidates with Spouse Visa, Own Visa, or Employment Visa are preferred.

Skills & Attributes

  • In-depth understanding of physics and strategies for board exam preparation.
  • Strong classroom management and lesson planning capabilities.
  • Ability to clearly explain complex concepts using practical and relatable methods.
  • Enthusiastic about science education and student development.
  • Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and simulations to enhance learning.
