Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job brief-

Operate pickling tanks to clean pipes using chemical solutions, removing scale and oxides to prepare for further processing or final delivery.

Responsibilities-

1. Load and unload pipes into pickling tanks safely using overhead crane. 2. Monitor chemical concentration, temperature, and pickling time. 3. Check pipe surface after pickling to confirm cleaning quality. 4. Maintain tanks, pumps, and equipment in safe working condition. 5. Neutralize and rinse pipes after treatment as per procedure. 6. Follow chemical handling safety rules and wear PPE. 7. Keep pickling area clean and organized.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. High school or technical diploma. 2. 1–3 years’ experience in pickling or chemical treatment operations. 3. Knowledge of safety standards for acid handling and chemical baths. 4. Basic measurement and inspection skills. 5. Attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
