The PICU Nurse will monitor patients closely, administer treatments, and collaborate with pediatric specialists to ensure the best outcomes.br>
Key Responsibilities:br>Provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, including post-surgical and trauma casesbr>Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and neurological status continuouslybr>Administer medications, intravenous fluids, and life-support interventions as prescribedbr>Manage ventilators and other pediatric critical care equipmentbr>Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed recordsbr>Educate families on patient conditions, treatments, and recovery plansbr>Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to plan and adjust carebr>Adhere to infection control policies and hospital safety protocolsbr>
Qualifications & Experience:br>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalentbr>Valid nursing license to practice in Omanbr>Minimum 2 4 years experience in pediatric critical care nursing or PICUbr>Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferredbr>Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills/span>
