Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling:

  • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.

  • Prepare baseline programs, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

  • Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Establish work breakdown structures (WBS) for project planning.

  • Delay Analysis & Claims Management:

  • Conduct forensic delay analysis to assess project delays and recommend EOT claims.

  • Collaborate with contract teams to prepare claims and variations.

  • Provide reports on potential risks and mitigations related to project schedules.


Resource & Cost Management:

  • Optimize resource allocation and track productivity against planned targets.

  • Support cost control teams with cash flow forecasts and S-curves.

  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment between schedule and budget.


Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting:

  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports to senior management and clients.

  • Liaise with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met.

  • Provide support for tender planning and bid submission schedules.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 18+ years of experience in planning and scheduling, preferably in infrastructure projects.

  • Strong background in FIDIC contracts and extension of time (EOT) claims.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

  • Knowledge of delay analysis techniques (e.g., Time Impact Analysis, Windows Analysis).

  • Experience with cost control, resource loading, and risk assessment.

  • Strong Excel and report writing skills.


Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or PSP certification is an advantage.

  • Experience in GCC projects and familiarity with local regulations.
