Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

� Hiring: Plant Supervisor – Finishing (Mechanical) �

Industry: Steel Manufacturing / Heavy Industry / EPC Support
Location: Gulf Region
Experience: 6–8 Years
Qualification: Technical Diploma (Mechanical or related)

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise routine maintenance, breakdowns, operational stoppages, and major shutdowns

  • Cooling Beds Roller Tables & Transfer Cars Flying / Cold Shears Straightening Machines Inspection & Grinding Stations Bundling, Strapping & Weighing Units.

  • Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, HSE, Stores, and external service providers

  • Lead shutdown surveys, contractor activities, and work progress monitoring

  • Ensure compliance with PTW, LOTO, HIRA, TBT, and HSE procedures

  • Monitor maintenance costs, materials consumption, and inventory levels

  • Maintain accurate equipment history, logbooks, CMMS / Maximo records

  • Prepare daily, monthly, and shutdown reports for management review

  • Support ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 compliance and audits.

Desired Candidate Profile

✔ Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering ✔ 6–7 years of experience in Finishing Shop / Plant Mechanical Maintenance ✔ Strong knowledge of plant equipment, finishing processes, and shutdown execution ✔ Proven supervisory and team-handling experience ✔ Hands-on exposure to budgeting, inventory control, and CMMS systems ✔ Good communication skills and report-writing ability
