PMO Site Engineer

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough site surveys to assess terrain, soil conditions, accessibility, and environmental impact. Collaborate with network planners to select suitable locations for telecom towers and equipment placement. Assess the need for site acquisition and permitting also Hunting sites with contractors to find out suitable solution locations in parallel with the RF plan. And coordinating with the other technical departments for the provisioning of the network needs and the implementation of the related projects.
• Develop comprehensive civil engineering plans and specifications for telecom site construction, including tower foundations, equipment shelters, and access roads. Ensure that all designs meet local zoning requirements and industry standards. Create detailed engineering drawings, construction blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Oversee the entire construction process, including site preparation, foundation installation, tower erection, and equipment installation. Collaborate with construction contractors, subcontractors, and crews to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met. Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
• Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety protocols. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify workmanship, safety compliance, and environmental practices
• Assist in developing project budgets and cost estimates for construction (civil and telecom) aspects. Optimize resource allocation to maximize project efficiency while minimizing costs. Monitor and report on project expenditure throughout the construction phase.
• Secure all necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities for construction activities. Stay up to date with local regulations and ensure that projects remain in full compliance throughout their lifecycle.
• Project Reporting: Generate regular progress reports, status updates, and technical reports for project stakeholders. Maintain open lines of communication with cross-functional teams, management, and external partners.
• Oversee routine maintenance and repair of telecom infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted operations. Collaborate with technical teams to plan and execute equipment upgrades and replacements as needed.
