Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Understand clients business objectives and develop tailored PR strategies to meet their needs.
Strategy Development
- Create and implement comprehensive PR campaigns aligned with client goals and target audiences.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify media opportunities, trends, and best practices.
Media Relations
- Cultivate relationships with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure coverage for clients.
- Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support on projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive messaging and seamless campaign execution.
Performance Measurement
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of PR campaigns, providing clients with regular reports and actionable insights.
- Adjust strategies based on performance metrics and client feedback to maximize impact.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, preferably within a marketing or PR agency.
Proven track record of managing multiple client accounts and executing successful PR campaigns.
Strong understanding of media relations, including familiarity with journalists, influencers, and key publications.
Knowledge of PR measurement tools and techniques to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
Awareness of current trends in PR, digital media, and communications strategies.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and press materials.
Strong interpersonal skills for client relationship management and team collaboration.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative PR strategies.
Prior agency experience is a MUST.
