Presales Engineer

Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles (MCV)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet their needs.

Assist in conducting technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase our products and solutions.

Support the preparation and delivery of technical proposals, including bill of materials, diagrams, and cost estimates.

Work closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth transition from presales to implementation.

Provide technical support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.

Job Skills and Abilities:

Basic understanding of data center infrastructure, including racks, cabinets, and power distribution.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Professional certifications such as CCNA are a plus.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

4 - 6 of experience in presales engineering, preferably in the structured cabling and data center infrastructure industry.

Knowledge of structured cabling standards and best practices is a plus.
