Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Research Produce and present content with the highest journalistic standards as per Asharq s Editorial Guidelines.
- Present in a manner which is engaging, easily understandable by making complex information understandable by non- subject matter audience
- To provide timely, expert and authoritative news coverage and analysis on news and events of interest to the audiences
- Work closely with insights team to understand the performance of programme to Improve ratings of assigned bulletins or programs
- Generate ideas and stories which contribute to the creative treatment and be involved in the production of the show.
- Ensure Consistency and Safeguard the content, quality and editorial style
- Lead interviews with local/non-local subject matter experts & figures
- Optimize the use of social media/new technologies to develop & deliver content to our audience
- Liaise with team members and internal stakeholders to ensure that output material is shared, duplication is avoided, and best practice is governed.
- Build and maintain diverse contact lists and databases to widen network
