Develop, review, and maintain enterprise-level data and AI policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Map and document current-state data processes across the data lifecycle; identify gaps, redundancies, and control weaknesses.

Design target-state process frameworks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) aligned with regulatory requirements.

Ensure all policies comply with UAE PDPL, DIFC Data Protection Law, GDPR where applicable, and relevant sector regulations.

Lead policy consultation workshops with business, legal, compliance, and technology stakeholders.

Build a Policy Register and manage the policy lifecycle: creation, approval, version control, review, and retirement.

Develop change management and communication plans to drive policy adoption across the organisation.

Create training content and awareness programmes to embed policy adherence in business units.

Monitor policy compliance and report on adherence metrics to the Data Governance Council.

Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC data protection and privacy regulations (PDPL, DIFC, ADGM). Experience designing policy frameworks for data, AI, or technology programmes in large enterprises. Excellent technical writing skills: ability to produce clear, concise, and legally sound policy documents. Facilitation and workshop design skills; experience managing multi-stakeholder review and approval processes. Familiarity with process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN notation) and document management platforms. Professional certification in compliance, risk, or governance (e.g., CIPP, ISACA CGEIT,
