Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of goods and services, proactively addressing any discrepancies.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions to optimize cost savings.
- Assist in the preparation of RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and RFPs (Requests for Proposal), facilitating the bidding process and vendor selection.
- Maintain and update vendor databases, ensuring all supplier information is current and compliant with company policies and regulations.
- Handle invoice processing and payment reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment schedules.
- Assist in resolving supplier issues, such as delivery delays, quality concerns, and pricing disputes, to maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support throughout the requisition process.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Has a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in procurement or a related field, demonstrating practical knowledge.
- Exhibits strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems.
- Displays excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective vendor interactions.
