Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Coordinator is responsible in coordinating the procurement process within an organization, ensuring that all goods and services are acquired efficiently, cost effectively, and in compliance with relevant policies.


OPERATIONAL

  • Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier-related issues to ensure continuous supply of quality products
  • Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and service standards
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers, getting approvals from the Manager and ensuring timely delivery of office services and supplies
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely delivery of goods
  • Monitor and manage inventory turnover, ensuring that excess inventory and stockouts are minimized
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, spend analysis, Develop and manage Budget sheet, supplier performance evaluation, and market trends and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement and take corrective actions as needed
  • Continuously assess and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in a centralized database, including contracts and purchase orders.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues with suppliers.

COMPLIANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements in all procurement activities
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the procurement process, including supply chain disruptions

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the team
