Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for switchgear components (breakers, relays, panels).

  • Float RFQs/RFPs, analyze quotations, and prepare comparative statements.

  • Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with vendors.

  • Ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and production schedules


    Technical Procurement (Switchgear Focus)

  • Review technical specifications, BOQs, and drawings before placing orders.

  • Procure components such as:

  • MCCBs, ACBs, VCBs

  • Protection relays & PLCs

  • Busbars, enclosures, cables

  • Coordinate with engineering teams for approvals and substitutions.


  • Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Purchase Order & Delivery Management

  • Inventory & Material Planning

  • Cost Control & Reporting

  • Compliance & Documentation

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

  • 3+ years of experience in procurement within switchgear manufacturing, MEP contracting, or EPC projects

  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical components (MCCB, ACB, VCB, relays, PLCs, etc.)

  • Experience in supplier management, cost control, and material planning

  • UAE experience will be preferred
