Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Procure mechanical, electrical, instrumentation materials, and spare parts for cement plant, block manufacturing unit, and lime manufacturing plant.

  • Handle PR, RFQ, PO, GRN, and Service Entry processes in SAP (MM Module).

  • Source and evaluate vendors, negotiate prices, and finalize contracts.

  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to avoid production downtime.

  • Coordinate with maintenance, production, QA/QC, stores, and finance departments.

  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management.

  • Develop new vendors and maintain supplier performance records.

  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Strong knowledge of plant equipment, heavy machinery, consumables, and spare parts.

  • Hands-on experience in SAP MM module (end-to-end procurement cycle).

  • Experience in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost control.

  • Procurement activities for plant operations, maintenance, and projects.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (mandatory).

  • Additional certification in Supply Chain / Procurement is an advantage.

  • SAP MM certification preferred.
