Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Execute purchase requisitions, RFQs, vendor comparison, negotiation, and final purchase orders through SAP S/4HANA.

  2. Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability of commodities to ensure cost‑effective purchasing.

  3. Manage end‑to‑end procurement activities for construction materials, heavy machinery (e.g., JCB‑type equipment), industrial supplies, and food‑grade commodities such as crude palm oil.

  4. Maintain accurate procurement data, contracts, and pricing information within SAP HANA.

  5. Work closely with operations to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules.

  6. Resolve supplier issues, delays, or discrepancies in quantity, quality, or pricing.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or similar role in construction, industrial materials, machinery procurement, or commodity trading.

  2. Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or SAP HANA procurement modules (PR/PO, GRN, vendor master, contracts).

  3. Familiarity with import/export documentation, logistics coordination, and supply‑chain processes is an advantage.

  4. Excellent communication, analytical, and documentation skills.

  5. Experience in sourcing materials, equipment, and commodities across multiple countries with strong understanding of global supply chains.

  6. Ability to work effectively with international suppliers, negotiate cross‑border contracts, and coordinate with teams across different regions.
