Roles & Responsibilities

Main Purpose:

Control the purchase of all materials for the company to ensure that they are in accordance with specifications and prices.

Key Responsibility:
  • Identify potential suppliers and Sourcing for and release new capable suppliers to enhance competition & improve cost-effectiveness for indirect items and spare parts.
  • Negotiate the purchase contract and price increase, ensuring that these meet specifications and can be delivered at the correct time at the most beneficial prices.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database relating to spare parts and suppliers to ensure that the company has accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Coordinate purchasing arrangements with different departments (Finance, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering) and functions to ensure that they are taking advantage of the most favorable terms with the required standards.
  • Align procurement strategies with overall organizational goals.
  • Attending events, and exhibitions to network with vendors and view to stay up to date with industry trend
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor s degree in commerce, business, supply chain management or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
