Key Accountabilities

1. Identify, evaluate, and validate venture opportunities by conducting market research, customer discovery, and problem-solution fit analysis.

2. Develop sustainable and scalable business models for new ventures and initiatives, leveraging insights from data, fintech, and capital markets.

3. Lead the incubation and acceleration of early-stage concepts, overseeing MVP development, customer pilots, and value proposition refinement.

4. Engage with internal stakeholders and executive sponsors to align venture initiatives with strategic goals and secure buy-in and resources.

5. Build robust financial models and investment proposals to assess venture feasibility, funding needs, and ROI.

6. Design and execute go-to-market plans for validated ventures, including pricing, distribution, and customer acquisition strategies.

7. Partner with startups, VCs, academic institutions, and innovation hubs to co-develop or co-invest in strategic opportunities.

8. Ensure all venture activities comply with WAMID s governance, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks.

Main Responsibilities

1. Carry out daily operations assigned for the department to comply with the company s standards.

2. Prepare timely and accurate department reports to meet the requirements, objectives, and standards of the company and the department.

3. Ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers to address their needs in a courteous and timely manner.

4. Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

5. Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, work processes, cost effectiveness, and productivity enhancement.

6. Promote to other employees within the organization the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, processes, and instructions.

7. Maintain a good and respectful relationship with other colleagues and represent the company in a good image.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or similar is required, Master Degree is preferred.

Professional certifications are preferred

Knowledge and Experience

3 + years of experience in venture building, corporate innovation, strategy consulting, or startup environments. Demonstrated experience in launching or scaling technology-enabled ventures.
