Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the ice cream production line to ensure efficient and high-quality output.
- Develop, implement, and monitor production schedules to meet demand and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to machinery, equipment, and production processes.
- Collaborate with R&D and quality assurance teams to introduce new products and improve existing formulations.
- Supervise and train production staff, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate with procurement to maintain optimal stock.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Implement and maintain preventive maintenance programs for all production equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and ensure consistent product quality.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in agriculture engineering, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in food production, preferably in ice cream or frozen desserts manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, HACCP, and GMP standards.
- Hands-on experience with production machinery, automation systems, and process optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues quickly.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
