Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Production & Operations

  • Supervise daily production activities including live receiving, slaughtering & evisceration. - Ensure production targets, yields, line efficiency, and manpower utilization meet approved plans. - Coordinate with Maintenance & Quality Assurance teams to ensure uninterrupted operations. - Monitor equipment start-up, changeovers, and shutdowns in compliance with SOPs. - Ensure halal slaughter practices are followed as per UAE regulations and company procedures.

Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory Compliance

  • Enforce HACCP plans, ISO standards, GMP, GHP, SOPs, SSOPs, and Work Instructions (WI). - Monitor Critical Control Points (CCPs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented

effectively. - Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and pest control standards in all production areas.

Occupational Health & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with UAE occupational health and safety regulations. - Enforce proper use of PPE and safe working practices. - Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. - Promote a strong safety culture among production teams.

Documentation & Systems

  • Maintain accurate production, quality, food safety, and safety records. - Prepare daily and shift-wise production reports for management review.

Continuous Improvement

  • Support implementation of Lean methodologies, 5S, waste reduction, and productivity improvement initiatives. - Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation.

People Management

  • Supervise, guide, and motivate production staff to meet performance and compliance requirements. - Conduct on-the-job training related to food safety, hygiene, safety, and SOP compliance. - Ensure discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Food Technology.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in poultry or food processing production operations.

  • Complete understanding of broiler slaughterhouse operations is mandatory.

  • Experience working in UAE or GCC food manufacturing environments is preferred.
