Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficient and timely manufacturing of confectionery products.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation and minimal downtime.
- Lead, mentor, and manage production teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive productivity and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, quality certifications, and regulatory requirements (ISO 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP, etc.).
- Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and maintenance teams to support product innovation and resolve production issues.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement and logistics teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs.
- Prepare and manage production budgets, reporting on variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Drive a culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility across all production activities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 7 years experience in food production or manufacturing management, preferably in the confectionery or FMCG sector.
- Proven track record of leading production teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, quality management systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with production planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to changing production demands.
- Proficiency in using production management software and MS Office Suite.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
