Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

I'm recruiting for a newly created Production Superintendent role on behalf of my client, a leading player in the petrochemical sector. This position sits within their Monomer Operation EC division and is ideal for a senior chemical engineer with extensive experience in steam cracking and ethylene cracker plant operations.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • 12+ years of experience in ethylene cracker plant operations
  • Strong leadership and team management experience
  • Expertise in troubleshooting, RCA, risk assessment, and process safety
  • Proven track record in plant startup, shutdown, turnaround maintenance, and daily production monitoring
  • Skills in inventory management, SOP development, technical evaluation, and interlock/protection systems

Preferred Skills:

  • Power BI, Aspen HYSYS, SAP LMS, Honeywell Uniformance
